Bagged Station: "Never Touch Dust"

How It Works

The robot empties into a sealed disposable bag. When full (every 4–8 weeks), the user pulls it out and throws it away — no dust cloud, no contact.

Advantages

  • Zero dust contact. Sealed bag, sealed deal. Pull it, drop it, done in 10 seconds.

Trade-Offs

  • You handle dust. Dumping the bin releases a dust cloud — exactly the experience self-emptying robots are supposed to eliminate.
  • Washing required. Rinse every 2–4 weeks. Dry completely before reinserting. Not hard, but it's manual work.
  • Dust sticks. Static makes fine dust cling to bin walls. A quick rinse becomes a scrub.
  • Odor buildup. Without carbon filtration, the bin and station can develop smells — especially with pets.
